ABOUT
Teodora Karaivanova is a licensed acupuncturist (LAc.), nationally certified herbalist and diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
She attained her Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) and her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York.
Teodora completed postgraduate courses in pediatric acupuncture and Shonishin (Japanese technique of stimulating acupuncture points and channels for children under the age of seven).
Interned for four years in a busy NY acupuncture practice (Moshe Heller acupuncture) focusing on pediatric acupuncture and women’s health.
She was a Teaching Assistant at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York.
Volunteered in Central America treating underserved population.
